An Unforgettable Experience in Jeddah
The Next Gen ATP Finals, presented by PIF, is one of the most exciting tournaments in the tennis calendar, showcasing the top eight players under 20 in a thrilling end-of-year competition. The 2024 edition, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was particularly special for me, as I had the privilege of working behind the scenes at this prestigious event.
A Unique Format for the Future Stars
The tournament featured two groups of four players competing in a round-robin format, followed by semifinals and a final to determine the ultimate champion. This structure not only provided high-intensity matches but also ensured that each player had multiple opportunities to showcase their talent on the grand stage.
My Role at the Event
During my two weeks in Jeddah, I was responsible for maintaining the center court and training courts, ensuring the playing surface was in perfect condition for the rising stars of tennis. It was an immense responsibility but also an incredibly rewarding experience. Every detail had to be perfect to provide the players with the best possible conditions to perform at their highest level.

Looking back, being part of the 2024 Next Gen ATP Finals was an incredible experience. Witnessing the future of tennis up close, working alongside great professionals, and being part of such a well-organized event in a vibrant city like Jeddah made it an unforgettable journey. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and excited to see where these young stars go next in their careers.
